Having changed their name from Thy Grief Eternal to the more simplistic 'Eternal', the band changed their style as well. Ditching the more Doom/Death aspect of their previous output, Eternal added a lot more to their sound. Mixing swirling Psychedelia with 70s Sabbath/NWOBHM riffs, Eternal was a special band whose sound pre-dated and out-heavyed what was soon-after to be tagged 'Stoner Rock'.

'Lucifer's Children' is a lost classic, originally intended for release on Rise Above Records back in 1993. The band broke up, shortly after which Justin Oborn returned to the scene with the band that we now know as Electric Wizard.
